Loyalist Women’s Hockey Team Proudly Sport Their “Sharks” Jerseys

Peter Williams, Student Life Coordinator, organized the first ever Women’s Extramural Hockey Team at Loyalist College. To show its support for the Athletics program, the Loyalist Student Government became the team’s sponsor through the purchase of their jerseys.

On February 6, 2009, the “Sharks” won the University of Toronto Women’s Hockey Tournament. Trailing 5-1 going into the third period, the Sharks pulled off an amazing 6-5 victory in overtime!
