Photographers
Requirements
The Student Government is looking for students who are:
- Hard-working
- Confident
- Creative
- Original
Students must also:
- be entering the second year of the Photojournalism program
- have their own camera and equipment
- have a strong passion for photography
- be able to work Thursday evenings (usually until midnight)
Please enclose samples of your photography in your application or provide a website address in your cover letter to view an online portfolio.
Duties
Take various photos at pub nights and for:
- Student Handbook
- Websites
- Advertising
Hours
- The Student Government recognizes that a student's prime responsibility is to his/her studies.
- approximately 2 to 3 hours on Thursday pub nights (except Orientation Week which runs Sunday, September 6 until Thursday, September 10)
- approximately 3 to 5 hours for photo projects and editing (please note: there are no set hours for these tasks)
Wage
- $9.50 per hour (please note: wage increases are possible for students who excel at these positions)
