What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
playing baseball

Extracurricular Activities/How are you involved on campus?
Baseball - my program keeps me pretty busy, but I did play for the Campus Recreation Baseball League.

My favourite things about Loyalist
I like the small hometown feel, yet it still has all the networking connections of a big city school.

My Orientation experience
It was crazy busy at times, but a lot of fun, gave me a chance to meet a lot of the friends I have now.

Why I enjoy working on campus
The Shark Tank Pub is a great atmosphere to work in. I get to see all the shows for free. I feel like we get to host the party each week, and not miss out on anything.

My favourite place to hang out on campus
The common area on Residence, it feels homey.

Why I chose Loyalist/program?
A friend referred it to me.

My favourite Loyalist professor
Mary Jollimore

My favourite Loyalist class/Most interest class taken so far
I enjoy the majority of my classes because they all involve a lot of hands-on assignments and get me out in the community.

My favourite Loyalist service
The Shark Tank Pub by far.

My favourite pub night
Sue Johanson, I don't think I've laughed so hard in my life.

What advice do you have to offer students on staying balanced between their academic responsibilities and social life?
A social life is a must but, school has to come first. I try to do as much as possible from Monday to Thursday so I have my weekends free.

Why I recommend Loyalist to other students?
The staff will go above and beyond for you, I've never had such helpful teachers.

My post-graduate plans
Come back for Sports Journalism. I would love to intern at TSN.
