Extracurricular Activities/How are you involved on campus?
I am currently the Residence Leader for Student Government, as well as this is my second year as a Residence Assistant. I also enjoy playing sports such as soccer and ringette, and enjoy watching the Varsity games at the Lancer dome.

Pub nights are always a fun way to relax and have a good time with friends. There are many different themes throughout the months, so you never get bored!
Why I enjoy working on campus?
I enjoy working on campus because it gives me a way to make money while in school, but also have fun with my friends while I'm getting paid. Also, most jobs on campus work around your school schedule.

Residence Commons! The comfy leather couches and the big screen tv is always a comfortable spot when you want some time to relax and just hangout.
Why I enjoy living in Residence?
I have met my closest friends at Loyalist, from living in Residence. There is always something going on such as trips to Ottawa Senators games, Toronto Blue Jays games, or even house challenges such as dodgeball, indoor soccer and baseball.
Why I chose Loyalist/program?
I chose Loyalist because it was a small school, that was fairly similar to my highschool. I also wanted to move away from home, and try life on my own away from my friends and highschool.

Why I enjoy getting involved with Student Government?
I made so many friends on Student Government, as well as meeting all the bands was cool too! I felt that it was my way to give back to Loyalist, after 3 years of being here.
What advice do you have to offer students on staying balanced between their academic responsibilities and social life?
You need to find what works for you. Everyone manages their time and stress levels differently. I personally relied on my Student Handbook to keep me organized of what is due and what is coming up in the upcoming weeks. I would use nights out with friends as a way to relax and keep my stress level to a minimum.

Why I recommend Loyalist to students?
It's a small school, where its easy to get involved. Teachers know you by your name because the class sizes are small. Everyone is supportive about what you do!
My post-graduate plans
I want to travel and eventually find a job in my field of Human Resources.
