Student Government Helps Loyalist Students Through Various Financial Contributions
Assisting Students in Times of Need
The Student Government made a $2,500 donation to the Student Emergency Fund to help ensure money is available to students who experience financial adversity throughout the year.
Helping Feed Hungry Residence Students
The Student Government made a $500 donation to the Residence Common’s Procrastination Station. The donation was in an effort to help stock the café with perishable food items as a convenience for students who cannot always get into Belleville to purchase items such as bread and milk. The donation was also used towards the purchase of food for the station’s first “Free Food Night” on December 9. This extremely successful event was to benefit students who were in the midst of exams and final assignments.
