Tell us a bit about yourself and the experience you will bring to Student Government.
I was in my student government in High school. I was a senator and represented our school at board meetings. Also I am currently Media Studies Leader for 2008-09.
Why I ran for this position?
Because I enjoyed working with the Loyalist Student Government this year and want to continue with it at a higher position. I want to interact more with students. I want students to know who I am and for me to know who they are.What do you believe is the biggest issue the Student Government will need to address this year?
Money is always an issue. Especially with the economy the way it is I believe the costs of student living will be a big factor for the upcoming academic year.
What new event or initiative would you like to see happen this year?
Some of our facilities aren’t as up to par as they should be. And I would want to improve on them.
How would you address the following question if asked by a Loyalist student during the campaign.
It is important for everyone’s voice to be heard no matter what.
“Why is it important to vote in student elections?”
