Requirements
The Student Government is looking for students who are:
- Hard-working
- Conscientious
- Flexible
- Efficient
Students must also:
- have experience with handling cash
- be able to work Thursday evenings (usually until midnight) and Friday afternoons/weekends.
Duties
- put up weekly event and monthly calendar posters in 10 closed-in bulletin boards and 3 poster display cases.
- remove outdated posters from closed-in bulletin boards and poster display cases.
- work Box Office for weekly events by handling a cash box, counter and ticket rolls
Hours
- The Student Government recognizes that a student's prime responsibility is to his/her studies.
- approximately 4 hours on Thursday pub nights for Box Office (except Orientation Week which runs Sunday, September 6 until Thursday, September 10)
- approximately 2 hours on Friday afternoons/weekends for putting up posters
Wage
- $9.50 per hour (please note: a wage increase is possible for a student who excels at this position)
