Requirements
The Student Centre is looking for students who are:
- At least 18 years of age
- Friendly & polite
- Efficient
- Hard-working
- Adaptable & able to work well under pressure
- Enthusiastic
Students must also have:
- Experience with handling cash
- Excellent communication skills
Duties

Provide friendly, prompt, safe and accurate service to customers.

Ensure minors are not receiving alcohol in any manner during the day or pub night.

Collecting empty beer bottles, jugs and cups from the tables during each day.

Ensure that their float and product are accounted for at the beginning and end of the night and that all voids are processed and all counts balance.

Make every effort to ensure that intoxicated customers get home safely.
Hours

The Student Centre recognizes that a student’s prime responsibility is to his/her studies. Pub nights run every Thursday night. Orientation Week for Student Centre Staff runs from Sunday, September 6 until Thursday, September 10.

Anywhere from about 4 to 8 hours a week, except for Orientation Week which could be anywhere from about 20 to 30 hours.
